Nowadays we use plastic for a lot of things, plastic is a cheap material, moreover the companies use this because it is resistant and easy to use, with it we can make toys for children, bottles, food packages, clothes, etc... Plastic is made from petroleum, whose use is polluting for the environment. Plastic is spread all over the seas and this is a problem because a lot of fish eat it and most of the time they die, but sometimes we eat this fish with plastic. Plastic is depleting oil reserves, if we continue using plastic as we have done so far, there will be no oil left by the year 2040. We have to recycle plastic to end the problem. Plastic takes 150 or even 1000 years to decompose, plastic is in the seas, forest, lakes... It is the cause of a lot of fires.
